The People Behind IBI Investment House

Emanuel Kook

Emanuel has over 50 years of experience in the capital market and is a partner in the Company’s management team. In 1975, Emanuel joined his friends, David Weisberg and Zvi Lubetzky, who founded IBI Investment Portfolio Management in 1971. Subsequently, additional activities were established, which, in time, became the IBI Group.

Emanuel earned his BA in economics and history from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

David Weisberg

David co-founded IBI Investment Portfolio Management in 1971 with his partner, Zvi Lubetzky. Subsequently, additional activities were established, which, in time, became the IBI Group. Prior to the establishment of IBI, David took part in formulating a master plan at the Ministry of Transportation and was the Financial Manager of Kibbutz Misgav Am, of which he was a member.

David holds an MBA and has a BA in economics from Columbia University in New York.

Zvi Lubetzky

Zvi founded IBI Investment Portfolio Management in 1971 together with his partner, David Weisberg. Subsequently, additional activities were established, which, in time, became the IBI Group. Zvi earned a BA in economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dave Lubetzky

Dave has over 20 years of experience in the capital market.

In his previous positions, he served as CEO of IBI portfolio management, as manager of the alternative investment activity, as manager of the corporate and institutional client department and chief investment manager at IBI Pension and Training.

Dave has a bachelor’s degree in economics. he has an investment management license on behalf of the Israel Securities Authority, and a pension insurance agent license on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.

In his spare time, he collects and renovates vintage cars. He fonds sports and technical diving.

Elah Alkalay

Elah serves as the Chairperson of IBI Mutual Funds, VP of Business Development at IBI Investment House, and holds other positions, including Chairperson of the Debt Forum and Chairperson of the Responsible Investment Forum. Elah has over 25 years of experience in the capital market and has worked at IBI since 1991.

Elah serves as the Chairperson of the Women’s Lobby in Israel, Chairperson of the New Israel Fund Grants Committee, is a board member of Ma’aleh, consultant and a member of the Israeli National Advisory Board for Impact Investing (INAB).

Elah participated in writing the Social Capital Market report issued by Yad Hanadiv Foundation and led by Adv. Didi Lachman Messer. Elah writes opinion pieces on various socioeconomic issues in the Israeli financial press.

Elah earned a BSc in biology from Tel Aviv University, an MSc from the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. In addition, she has attended a number of courses on the psychology of financial decision-making at Harvard Extension School.

Iddo Kook

Iddo serves as the Chairman of IBI Investment House and as the Chairman of IBI Capital. He served as the Company CEO between 2011 and 2018 and has been involved in various fields in the capital market for over 25 years. He began his career as a stockbroker and has held a range of management positions at the IBI Group, in the investment management and brokerage fields.

Iddo holds an MBA and a BSc in life sciences from Tel Aviv University. He also holds an investment management license issued by the Israel Securities Authority.

Livnat Mizrahi Rinsky

Livnat has served as the CEO of  Israel Brokerage and Investments – I.B.I Ltd since 2018 and has been involved in the local and international capital market for over 20 years. In the past, she held several key investment positions with Union Bank, and in her most recent position, she managed the trading, brokerage and foreign exchange rooms.

Livnat earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration, with a major in finance and derivatives from the College of Management Academic Studies.

 

 

 

Ori Ben Dov

Ori has been managing IBI Mutual Funds since 2012. He previously served as CEO of ETF company, Index, and as a VP at Migdal Asset Management.

Ori holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University.

Ron Shuhatovich

Ron is the Chief Legal Counsel of the IBI Investment House.

Ron has extensive experience in providing legal advice in the field of regulation that applies to the capital market, and before joining IBI he served as a partner in the capital market department of a leading law firm. Ron holds bachelor’s degrees in law and business administration from the Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), and a master’s degree in law from Bar-Ilan University.

Oren Cohen

Oren has served as the Deputy CEO and VP of Marketing and Sales since 2014 and has been involved in various fields of the capital market for over 10 years. In his previous position, he served as the VP of Sales at Migdal Capital Markets and prior to that was a senior investment advisor at Bank Hapoalim.

Oren earned a BA in economics from Open University. He also holds an investment management license issued by the Israel Securities Authority.

Oren Ofek

Oren joined IBI in 2015 and served as Deputy CEO and Chief Legal Counsel of the IBI Group. Oren has extensive experience in the field of legal counseling and regulation of the capital market and previously served as an attorney in the Capital Market Department at Tadmor Levy & Co., Israel Discount Bank and Altshuler Shacham Investment House. Currently serving as Deputy CEO of IBI and responsible for implementing the group’s strategy in all its activity in the Israeli and global markets.

Oren holds LL.B in Law and B.A in Government from IDC Herzliya.

Alon Dori

Alon Dori has been serving as CEO of IBI Portfolio Management since mid-2018 and previously served as the Company VP. Alon joined IBI in 2004 after holding a number of positions at Bank Otsar Ha-Hayal.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in economics and management, a master’s degree in business administration. He also holds an investment management license issued by the Securities Authority and a license as a pension insurance agent issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Off the graph: He holds a mediation license and believes in his abilities in this field.

Dror Tene

Dror serves as CFO of IBI Group and joined IBI in 1994 as a financial controller.

Dror holds a BA in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University. He is also a CPA.

Meir Tubi

Meir has over 20 years of experience with information systems, approximately 15 of which were in applications related to the capital market. Meir joined IBI in 2007 after several positions at IBM, Poalim Sahar.

Shiri Levinson-Raz

Shiri joined IBI in 2015 and serves as the VP of Human Resources.

Shiri has worked in human resources for over 20 years and previously managed human resources departments in large organizations and was involved in enterprise-wide processes, such as development and mergers.

Shiri holds a BA in business administration and a MA in labor studies from Tel Aviv University.

Tal Dori

Tal has extensive experience in wide-ranging areas of the capital market, including investment management, trading, analysis and investment funds. Tal joined IBI Investment House in 2010 and has held a variety of managerial positions within the Group.

Tal holds a BA in economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He also holds an investment portfolio management license (suspended), issued by the Israel Securities Authority.
