General Manager
Amban-I.B.I. Investment Management Ltd.
Ami joined IBI Investment House in 1991 as a General Manager and was appointed Manager for investment portfolios in 1994. As General Manager of Amban-I.B.I. Investment Management Ltd., Ami chairs the Group's investment committees and is a senior member of the strategy teams of IBI Group management, devoting most of his time to managing the investment strategies of the Group's clientele, personally following the performance of each portfolio. Additionally, he manages the investment portfolios of select institutional investors and provides comprehensive marketing services to insurance companies, provident funds and not-for-profit organizations. Within the framework of his activities, he is responsible for achieving returns in all the portfolios managed by the House and in the mutual funds managed by his team (i.e. "I.B.I. Equities" and "I.B.I. Geva Overseas Equities"). Ami has more than 20 years experience in the capital markets in a variety of capacities in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and in IBI Investment House Ltd. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and his Master's Degree in Business Administration, both in the University of Tel Aviv. He is licensed as an investment manager by the Israel Securities Authority.
Assistant General Manager
Roni joined IBI Investment House in 1994 and was appointed Assistant General Manager of Amban and Chief Investment Manager in 1997. His job description includes responsibility for overall investment deployment, client management and operations. Additionally he supervises and provides marketing services to the investment committees of pension providers, businesses and not-for-profit organizations. As Chief Investment Manager of the Group, he is directly responsible for the Group's team of private and institutional portfolio managers and is involved in the day-to-day management of investment operations. Roni has a wealth of experience garnered in over 15 years in the capital market in different roles in the banking system and in IBI Investment House. He graduated Cum Lauda from the University of Tel Aviv with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management and an MBA specializing in Finance. Roni has also completed a course as a senior investment counselor. He is licensed as an investment manager by the Israel Securities Authority.
Assistant Manager for Operation and Regulation
Dave joined IBI Investment House in 2003 and has since filled a number of different roles in underwriting, trading, investment management, operations, marketing and regulation. Within the framework of his role as Assistant General Manager of the company, he is responsible for the Trading Department for Managed Portfolios and the Investment Operations Department as well as for auditing operations and company compliance with regulations. Dave also serves as Chief Investment Manager for the Provident Funds of IBI Investment House. Dave holds a BA in Economics from the University of Tel Aviv and is licensed as an investment manager by the Israel Securities Authority.
Manager for Equities Investments
I.B.I.-Amban Investment Management Ltd.
Hertzel joined IBI Investment House in 1999. Within the framework of his role as manager of equities investments for I.B.I.-Amban Investment Management, he is responsible for choosing the shares to be included in client portfolios and in the portfolios of I.B.I. Equity Mutual Funds and I.B.I. Overseas Equity Funds. Additionally, Hertzel manages equity investment portfolios for private and institutional clients and is a member of the company's investment committees. He has been a portfolio manager since 1993, starting his professional career as investment manager for a number of private companies, returning to the capital market and joining IBI following a 5-year stint with the IDF Intelligence Corps focusing on the economic aspects of their work. Hertzel is a graduate of Bar Ilan University with a BA in Economics and Management and an MBA in Business Administration. He is licensed as an investment manager by the Israel Securities Authority.
